Title: New spot.
Post by: Mcgee Dude on July 06, 2015, 10:47:17 AM
I'm thinking about making a solo trip up to the east side this weekend. I have a lake in mind for some trophy fish, but I might put it off until there is a buddy with me at the end of the month, so I don't have to be so far back in the wilderness by myself.

My question is do any of you have any lakes to recommend for me to go to that are off road but maybe more local to the mammoth area, ( the lake i have in mind is kinda far from this area for a solo trip). I'll be staying in my usual site at McGee. I welcome a lake with an off road trail that I can take my Ranger on. I want the possibilities of catching some big fish ( so no stunted brookie lakes ). I work hard at catching fish so I welcome the challenge.

If I don't get any good Intel on some trophy lakes I'll probably just head out to my intended mystery lake. I may try my hand at the Laurell lakes again now that I know (sorta) how to fly fish.

Thanks!
