So the road is plowed to the back of RCL.  Where is the closure now?  Will they plow to Mosquito Flats, or just let nature do the work?

They usually don't plow that road, at least I've never been aware of it in many years. I could be wrong.

I can remember many times the road has remained closed at the Pack Station, yet the road was 95% free of snow. Just 1 or 2 deep snow drifts blocking the road. They usually wait for mother nature to melt it off before they open that gate.

Topwater and myself have walked into Mosquito Flats a few years back and the road was wide open with exception of a drift or two.

Hope this helps.

Road is open to Mosquito Flats.  Still patches of snow up there and lots of mud but the road is clear.

Yes, unfortunately the road is a mud pit with three new streams running thru it.  We can get in but only with 4WD. One of the culverts was washed out, so I see some road repair in the future. The super-not-so-secret fishing hole is HUGE now.  I would say 80% of rock reek is white water rapids right now...not to many places to stream fish. The lake on the other hand is reallly full.  Just plan to bring some mud boots to get around as I am sure conditions wont change much in the next two weeks.
