You're pictures are a highlight to me every time that you post. They give me the opportunity to see areas that I will never be able to see in person. Age, medical limitations, finances and time prevent me from making the trips that you do. How awesome is the beauty of God's creation, and your pictures bring it to all of us on the Board. Thanks

I love all of your pictures and reports, they are so informative and make me realize that I should have forced myself to take advantage of the beauty of the eastern  sierra quite a few years ago. I vote for more inspiration from Bishop Canyon, but any and all pics and reports are completely read by me. Thanks for sharing your photos and experiences with us.

I agree with playing menace. Would love to take that trip and see all those sights but the legs won't begin to handle a hike.
I will have to see what these legs do at the lake. Leaving tomorrow for a week, unless we get snowed out.

This lake looks so barren, what insects are there for the trout to feed on.? I have never been to such lakes so am unaware of the conditions.

Thanks Saudust and wshawkins. I had noticed that certain sites had quit appearing so I figured that that site had become inactive. The newly recommended web sites will fill my need for seeing the eastern Sierra information, pictures and stories.

Does anybody on the Rock Creek Message Board know what happened to the "easternsierracams.com" website?
I miss several of the sites that were there.

All I had to do was click on the Rock Creek Message Board header bar. Since the change I was always getting the info center stuff but not the posts. I guess all is well now. Thanks.  I love this board to keep me up to date on what is happening up there since we don't get to go much anymore. Hopefully we'll make it this summer with our family including a new great grandson. He will be 6 months old.

How do I sign up or register for the new message board? I got to this page but can not get to the main board.  I have limited IT understanding.

I love these pictures of the Sierras. It is really cool to have the date attached also. Thanks to all who have posted. I truly wish that I could have had time and energy when I was younger to see these beautiful places of God's creation, that He made for our enjoyment.

Your trips and pictures make me wish that I could have had the opportunity when I was younger to have taken some of the same trips. I did have the opportunity to take my first trip to Rock Creek Lake as a kid in 1948. You have chosen such beautiful sites to take pictures and fish. Although I would rather be there looking at them in person. Thank you so much for the information and pictures.  Walt
