Anything Goes / Re: Morning Chuckles

An old man and woman were married for many years, even though they hated each other. Whenever there was a confrontation, yelling could be heard deep into the night. The old man would shout, "When I die, I will dig my way up and out of the grave and come back and haunt you for the rest of your life!"

Neighbors feared him. They believed he practiced magic because of the many strange occurrences that took place in their neighborhood. The old man liked the fact that he was feared.  To everyone's relief, he died of a heart attack when he was 98.

His wife had a closed casket at the funeral. After the burial, she went straight to the local bar and began to party as if there was no tomorrow. Her neighbors, concerned for her safety, asked, "Aren't you afraid that he may indeed be able to dig his way out of the grave and haunt you for the rest of your life?"

The wife put down her drink and said, "Let him dig.  I had him buried upside down, and I know he won't ask for directions."

I just love this thread, it is cracking me up!...   to shower or not to shower, that is the question:)

It just tells me that if we are all 'discussing' wether to shower or not, and how and where to shower,,,, live must be good!

yes indeed..... life is good!

FANTABULOUS report Chris!!!!

love those shots of the fish underwater... so clear!!!!  how the heck do you get them to pose like that???   So glad to hear  Yuji made it with you as well:)    Hi Yuji!!!

I believe the Crystal range that runs thru the Desolation Wilderness marks the  east side / west side boundry....  so if you are headed to ralston or aloha or at the south end you are on the east side.. i am gonna have to look at a map to check on spider, buck island and that group up at the north end.. i dont remember which side of the ridge those fall on....but we dont care which side of the sierra you are on...  report away my friend!!  cause 'where Chris goes, people listen'  :)

Go for the showers at the lodge....nice showers with lots of elbow room, not to mention hot water:)   just beware that you have to buy the tokens at their little store there, so you need to check their hours...  they used to close at 5.     showers are open later than that... but you need your token:)

and bring your own soap, shampoo, towels etc...

got this off of facebook....   looks like we will have some good reading when folks get back!

Here"s a sample size of opening day for you all.. A Dad & son had a German Brown each from Crowley Lake this morning, Dad's was a bit over 5# sons was 4 1/2, I also saw a 10yr old or so boy in Tuff campground with a Rainbow that was well over 3#. I saw several folks carrying thier 5 limit stringers thru French Camp as well. I had a feeling it was going to be a good opener, I had no idea it would be THIS good..

Beldingi taking a 9 week vacation?   now that is funny!!!    we are lucky to get her to stop working for 9 minutes!

she spends that time out here doing research on her belding research project:)    more like a big tease... she and her students get planted out here in a gorgous spot, but they have to watch the other people enjoy it while they do thier study and collect their data, .....talk about torture!! :)
