Marble Fork Kaweah River Fishing
« on: April 13, 2015, 02:15:35 PM »
Looking at doing a family vacation in early June to Lodgepole and wanted to know what to expect as far as fishing.  Has anyone recently been there to fish?

I've never heard of it before so I jumped on the web, as I'm always interested in new locations. It seems like it was pretty good fishing in the early 2000's, I was only able to find reports from 2004-2008. Seems like a lot of fly fishing going on back there, with lures being a second choice. Seems like lots of small rainbows and brookies are the ones to be caught back there. Seems like a really awesome place to check out!

I've never had much to do with the west side either. I have reservations for Cedar Grove for this July so I guess I'll get to fish some new to me waters also.
