Tenkara Fly Fishing

Do any of you Creekers use this method?  My daughter gave me a complete setup but it looks difficult. Any thoughts or observations would be appreciated.  Thanks, lf

It's actually very easy, especially in the back country creeks. Look at Tenkara USA websites, it's got the best reputation. The guy that's been teaching me uses his on the Owens, for bigger fish, I'm not that brave yet. Without a reel, you have to chase the fish up and down the bank...easy enough thirty years ago, not now. Small brookies are a kick in the butt....
