Marine One:
Very good idea with the e-z up.

Trev Dog:
AN EZ-UP or any other shelter is always a good idea over the bear box and table, it also creates an area to gather under a rain storm and talk story or play board games till the rain passes. But I agree with Marine 1 put your dry goods and perishables in totes and store them in the car.

how did the bear box work out?

It worked out great. I was able to keep dry goods above the ice chest and still pull out and access  ice chest.......
