RIP JJ
« on: September 05, 2012, 09:37:44 PM »
If you've ever been around the resort, you know who this is.  He died last night.

Gotta be a somber time around the lake.  The goldens at the resort have been a fixture at at least 2 decades.  I go back as far as Luke and Koa, but I can't remember if there were other before them.  There were always puppies and/or other younger goldens around the place waiting in the wings.  That isn't the case tonight.  JJ was very special to the folks at the resort.

JJ had a great life giving love and receiving it from people that came in contact with JJ. I'm sure JJ's family gave JJ a lot of love, and they have lost a family member, but they also have priceless memories.

What a great life JJ had to spend his summers at the creek!  The goldens were so friendly.  You will be missed JJ!

Sorry to hear that. Pets become part of our family and the loss is not a lot different than a human family member passing.

Good bye JJ

Tim,
We used to pet the goldens every trip up if they were close to the door.

LHR,
that almost looked like Sam.
and wshawkins had a picture where his golden looked like Sam, except his was a she.

How sad for them.  I know he will truly be missed by all you visit the Resort.
The creek is waiting...
