A nice little shot of adrenalin, thanks LHR!
Life without music, laughter, and an Eastern Slope BBQ would be a mistake.

You guys sure make it hard to concentrate on work! I won't be able to get up to the creek for my annual trip until August, and I'm marking the days on my calendar. :camping:

I happened to see them putting up their sign the other day on their web cam.  That made my season start right then.  Today it is rainy and tomorrow will be light snow showers forecasted.  I wish, I wish, I wish I could be there.

Thanks for updating the campground access.  Was wondering if anyone knows about the road to mosquito flats?  Is it open and much snow left up there?

I just drove up the hill to check everything out. The road to Mosquito is open, dry all the way. Patchy snow around the parking lot, the beginning of the trail was dry, no idea when you might hit snow on the way to LLV.

My Dad reports that last week there was snow on the ground at Palisades on Mother's Day but it quickly melted with the heat wave.  The creek was running good as well which was a surprise.
The creek is waiting...
