Hoorah!  Well done, Garin.  I know your dad is not only proud...but thankful.

Ditto that, LHR, more time in God's Country with Pa.  So, in honor of that idea...

TIGHT LINES!  :fishing3:
Let me wake laughing from a nap in the afternoon under the aspens in the fall.

Yup yup! His mom and dad are very proud of him.

Julie and I had a great skype with him last night after his arrival ceremony at Ft. Hood. His girl was able to be there, and I'm sure that when those men were dismissed and broke rank, those two must of had a tearful embrace. Priceless.

Now he has a few days off with his girl, and what was he doing first thing? He was doing what any good Army Infantry Staff Sargent would do.......delivering a bunch of chilled beer to his men at the barracks, who couldn't leave the base. Proud to know you son!

My son is just one of many who have proudly served his/her country, over and over again. Astonishing when you think about it. God Bless our troops, past and present.

Thank you Carol for your unsolicited tribute.

Thank you Danika for getting all that beer so my son could honor tribute to his guys who served him loyally.

It was a heart warming evening to say the least.
Life without music, laughter, and an Eastern Slope BBQ would be a mistake.
