Red Flag Warning this week
« on: September 10, 2018, 01:03:40 PM »
Just as some of the catastrophic fires are being contained, controlled if not declared 'out' - the area faces a new very concering threat.

Most of us have experienced beautiful fall weather in the ES - Hot Days, Cool Nights, usually very low humidity, sometimes very breezy when pressure fronts are shifting or passing through.

This appears to be of significant concern over the next 3 days as stated:

Let's hope and pray for the BEST and encourage others to keep it safe out there!

You can only speculate how 'bad it might be' when the first bullet point in the official National Weather Service statement reads:

* This is a Particularly Dangerous Situation.

They are not known for being overly dramatic.
