Snow and rain
« on: February 10, 2014, 10:06:58 PM »
Sierra Drifters guide service reported up to 3 feet of snow at Mammoth and June Mountains from the recent storms.  Said the weather pattern was strange,  as the Bishop and Crowley areas were mostly left dry.  Also,  up North and west,  Folsom Lake rose 18 feet from all the rain they had!

Once I arrive at Tom's Place...well,  you know...nothing else matters...

Just received this tonight from the visitor's bureau -
Mammoth Mountain got hit with two storms in the past week. The most recent storm dumped 3-5 feet, completely covering the mountain with fresh snow and allowing for Mammoth to open 100% of its terrain.
The creek is waiting...
