Aspen has lots of room for large groups. RV's as well as tents are welcome in this campground. Rock Creek flows through Aspen, and a beautiful meadow area is also present in the campground. As you might expect, several large aspens provide shade to the campground, in addition to pine trees. Being 1,500 feet lower than Rock Creek Lake group camp, Aspen tends to be much warmer than the lake. Also, Aspen is more secluded than the group site at the lake.
