Mosquito Flat Trailhead Campground has 10 sites. This campground can only be occupied by persons with a valid overnight backcountry permit for the following day, and the stay limit is only one night. Any others caught camping without such a permit are subject to a significant fine. The campground is located across the bridge that leads to Eastern Brook Lakes. In the winter, Rock Creek Lodge sets up a winter hut at this location for nordic skiers and backcountry travelers.
