Holiday Campground is only open on busy holiday weekends such as Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day, or whenever conditions warrant its opening. The 35 sites Holiday has help handle the large crowds during such busy holiday weekends. In July of 2002, a wildfire burned into a portion of the campground, but spared most of the sites.
