Being the smallest campground in Rock Creek with only 5 sites, Palisade is ideal for families.  The sites are perched above the creek in a grove of pine and small aspen trees and are very quiet.  A large dirt lot is located just outside the campground, perfect for playing frisbee or other similar outdoor games.  Good fishing holes can be found upstream and downstream from the campground, and fish are also caught in the fast water in the campground itself.  Each site is equipped with a bear box.  Sites in Palisade are not reservable.  For a map of Palisade, click HERE.
