 | Rock Creek Lake’s campground has 28 sites, many of them walk-in tent sites. Except for the group site, none of the sites here at the lake are reservable. The walk-in sites are relatively secluded and great for families and couples, but many of the campground’s other sites are located directly on the road that winds around to the lake’s eastern shore to the inlet. Those sites receive a large amount of vehicle and foot traffic, and are consequently prone to noise and disturbances. Obviously, being on the lake is this campground’s major draw. It is popular for its beauty, as well as its convenient proximity to fishing, hiking trails, and facilities present at Rock Creek Lakes Resort. Each site is equipped with a bear box for food storage.
