What a great location for a group campout! The group site at Rock Creek Lake is located
on the lake's western shore and is equipped with tent pads which must be used by campers.
Unfortunately, tents are not allowed to be placed off of these pads, and there is very little shade on the tent pads, the campground’s one major drawback.
The site’s tables are shaded by pines, while the fire rings in the center of
the site receive more sun. Bear boxes are provided for food storage.
The group site has a semi-private restroom with flush toilets and cold-water sinks.
Water faucets are located just outside the restroom as well. In addition, Rock Creek Lakes Resort with its well-stocked store, boat rentals, restaurant and showers is within walking distance of the campground.
RV’s are not allowed in Rock Creek Lake Group Camp. This campground is strictly for tent
camping, and it must be reserved in advance.
