I'm thinking backstraps with a quick braze on the grill then slather with sauce, wrap in foil and return to grill for a slow finnish Roll Eyes

See what you started, LHR?  You've got all of us hungry this morning!

Let's see, deer tags, current hunting license, a map to LHR's place...

have to go look up 'nimby responce'..

but first stop today...

go to the dog store and pick up 2 big rotweilers to guard my back yard!!!!

and i am afraid a map may not help ....   so far, even people with a map can't find our house!!!    they end up calling, and we go meet them:)

Rots love venison.

NIMBY   /usually ˈnɪmbi/  Show Spelled[usually nim-bee]  Show IPA
not in my backyard: used to express opposition by local citizens to the locating in their neighborhood of a civic project, as a jail, garbage dump, or drug rehabilitation center, that, though needed by the larger community, is considered unsightly, dangerous, or likely to lead to decreased property values.

i don't think i clarified the type of rot.... this would be the great northern california rot.  they have been developed specifically to protect thenatural beauty that is abundent up here.  and they have this unique diet .... seems they fancy the taste of the fresh meat of humans from southern california, especially after there has been a release of adreniline into their blood stream that was triggered by the sound of their growl:)

but you are correct on the nimby responce.... the sight of a large BBQ of the deer would be unsightly and detrimental to the neighborhood!!

Hmmm...toss the map idea out.  Genetically altered rots ruin the evaluation of my equation. Sad

We have gone off track.
When is this BBQ?
After all most of the menu is set including sauces.
Between all of us we can figure it out.

Saudust, I have my licence, just need a tag. We could claim
a nuissance hunt.  It is done across the state near farmland.

All right, AB-SN, back with the map (and a compass to sneak in from the back side), some anti-rot mace and get the tag!

Yummy!

Aw, come on, LHR, just one???

just check back in about august... its about then that i am completely pissed off at the little darlings cause i haven't been able to find any of the antlers all summer, and they are eating everything in sight... usually including something that i am trying to grow and enjoy....

then we may be talking BBQ:)

Hey, LHR, that's a great idea.  C'mon, guys, applaud!  Those little things might be fattened up by then!  Reserving August for a deer-b-que!  Maybe the plums will be ready, too.

The gun-totten mama is, well, much more intimidating than the rots.  I like the image, though.  Good call, LHR.
