Rock Creek Lakes Resort is not your typical California resort. Swimming pools, jacuzzis, tennis courts, saunas, room service and maid service are not services we offer. Our services cater to down-to-earth campers, fishermen, hikers and backpackers, and families that want to revert back to, if only for a short while, an old-time atmosphere with modern facilities.
Some of our services include very reasonable boat rentals ($75 - full day, $50 - half day for a motor boat), a complete tackle shop and small general store, propane, ice, firewood, showers for campers and hikers (token-operated, not quarters), a small breakfast and lunch counter, beer and wine, and modern cabins. Employees of the Resort strive to be friendly and helpful, and will attempt to answer any questions that you may have.
While you'll find nothing fancy here at Rock Creek Lakes Resort, except for maybe Sue's pie, you can expect a smile and a very community-oriented group of people once you enter our doors. You'll feel at home right away, we're sure of it.
Our season typically runs from mid-May through mid-October, but our busiest season is from late-June through Labor Day. We are closed during the winter season.
Rock Creek Lakes Resort does NOT handle the camping in Rock Creek. The campgrounds are USFS campgrounds run by a concessionaire called Recreation Resource Management. Please contact RRM for questions regarding camping.
This facility is operated under a Special Use Permit on land under the jurisdiction of the U. S. Forest Service.
Rock Creek Lakes Resort does not discriminate.

Testimonials...
There is nothing like walking into the Rock Creek Lake Resort in the morning (sorry can't say what time, you might beat me there) and smelling the freshly baked pies. The only thing better is biting into a slice that is still warm. Melts in your mouth.
