From Los Angeles:
- Take I-5 north to State Rt. 14 north (Lancaster).
- Continue north on the 14 to the junction with U. S. 395. The 14 ends here and merges with 395.
- Go north on 395 through Bishop.
- About 22 miles north of Bishop is the turnoff at Tom's Place marked "Crowley Lake Drive/Rock Creek Lake." Head south on Rock Creek Road to Rock Creek Lakes Resort.

From Orange County:
- Take the 91 east to I-15. Head east toward Las Vegas.
- At the U. S. 395 turnoff east of Cajon Pass turnoff and head north on 395 toward Bishop. Continue through Bishop.
- About 22 miles north of Bishop is the turnoff at Tom's Place marked "Crowley Lake Drive/Rock Creek Lake." Head south on Rock Creek Road to Rock Creek Lakes Resort.

From San Diego:
- Take I-15 east toward Escondido and Las Vegas.
- At the U. S. 395 turnoff east of Cajon Pass turnoff and head north on 395 toward Bishop. Continue through Bishop.
- About 22 miles north of Bishop is the turnoff at Tom's Place marked "Crowley Lake Drive/Rock Creek Lake." Head south on Rock Creek Road to your destination.

From the Bay Area:
- Take the 580 east. Then take I-205 east for about 15 miles through Tracy to I-5 north.
- At Manteca, take S. R. 120 east toward Yosemite.
- At the 120/108 junction you can choose to cross the range via Tioga Pass on 120 which is shorter but costs $20 (Yosemite), or over Sonora Pass on 108 which is longer but is free. Both roads will place you north of Rock Creek on U.S. 395.
- Travel south on 395 to the "Crowley Lake Drive/Rock Creek Lake" turnoff at Tom's Place, about 13 miles south of Mammoth Lakes. Head south on Rock Creek Road to Rock Creek Lakes Resort.
