Box Lake is one of the larger lakes in Little Lakes Valley.  It's less than 1/4 mile from Heart Lake if you follow the creek upstream from Heart Lake instead of taking the trail.  Otherwise you end up above the lake looking down on it, as in the next photo.  Brown, rainbow, and brook trout are common in this lake.
