About 1/8 mile above the inlet to Box Lake is this crossing of Rock Creek (photo by Joe Haak).  In the summer of 2001, trail crews did an excellent job of making this crossing easily passable with the use of large rocks strategically placed in the creek.  Rock Creek swells considerably in the spring making this a difficult crossing for some.  Long Lake is about another 1/8 mile ahead.
