This is the sign at the trailhead, reminding hikers of the various forms of backcountry etiquette and the possibility of bear encounters. A crude map is also present on the board. One thing that isn't on the board is a reminder that fires are not permitted in Little Lakes Valley. That rule is not adhered to by many. |
